
Who funds AYAD?
The AYAD Program is fully funded by the Australian Government's overseas aid agency AusAID.
AusAID is the Australian Government agency responsible for managing Australia's overseas aid program. The objective of the aid program is to assist developing countries reduce poverty and achieve sustainable development, in line with Australia's national interest.
AusAID provides advice and support to the Minister and Parliamentary Secretary on development policy, and plans and coordinates poverty reduction activities in partnership with developing countries.
AusAID's head office is in Canberra. AusAID also has representatives in 25 Australian diplomatic missions overseas.

Who manages AYAD?
The AYAD Program is managed by Austraining International.
Austraining International is an international development organisation that has managed over 300 bilateral and multilateral projects across 50 countries in Asia, the Pacific, North Africa and the Middle East. Austraining has a permanent regional presence in Asia and the Pacific through 19 country offices and a major subsidiary in Indonesia. Established in 1991, Austraining International Pty Ltd is wholly owned by the Government of the state of South Australia.
Austraining's Head Office is in Adelaide, South Australia and has a total of 40 staff to coordinate and manage projects. A further cohort of staff is located offshore in 19 country project offices throughout Asia and the Pacific. This structure is further complemented through 4 regional offices in Bangkok, Hanoi, Jakarta and Port Moresby. PT Austraining Nusantara (PTAN), established in 1993, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Austraining International which is based in Jakarta.
